💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Apesar de considerar o Homem-Aranha um dos super-heróis mais bem concebidos de sempre, vejo-o como uma personagem algo unidimensional, o que faz com que nunca me tenha tornado grande fã das suas aventuras. Ainda assim, resolvi dar uma oportunidade a esta nova série do aracnídeo mais famoso da banda desenhada.

A desilusão foi total. O conceito da história até é interessante, mas a execução é simplesmente horrível. Não corresponde minimamente àquilo que eu esperava. Tudo parece bastante desinspirado.

A arte não é má, mas também não consegue elevar o conjunto. Há algumas páginas que seguem uma direção artística diferente — e essas estão brutais —, mas tirando isso, o resto passa sem grande impacto.

Muito fraquinho.

🇬🇧 Although I consider Spider-Man one of the best-conceived superheroes ever, I find him to be quite a one-dimensional character, which has kept me from becoming a big fan of his adventures. Even so, I decided to give this new series featuring the most famous arachnid in comics a try.

Total disappointment. The concept of the story is actually interesting, but the execution is simply terrible. It doesn’t match at all what I was expecting. It all feels very uninspired.

The artwork isn’t bad, but it doesn’t really elevate the book either. There are a few pages that follow a different artistic direction — and those are fantastic — but aside from that, the rest is largely unremarkable.

Very weak overall.
