💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 É apenas no final de uma guerra que se olha para trás e se percebe a quantidade de vidas desperdiçadas sem qualquer sentido.

Homens que se justificam dizendo que estavam apenas a cumprir ordens acabam por perceber, quando tudo termina, o quão vazio e irrelevante esse argumento realmente soa.

Gostei muito da mensagem que este ciclo procura transmitir. A guerra funciona como um nevoeiro que cega todos os que nela participam; e só quando esse nevoeiro se dissipa é que conseguimos ver com clareza os horrores cometidos durante a cegueira.

🇬🇧 It is only at the end of a war that we look back and realize how many lives were wasted for nothing.

Men who justify themselves by saying they were simply following orders only come to understand, once the war is over, how empty and irrelevant that argument truly sounds.

I really liked the message this arc tries to convey. War is like a fog that blinds all those who take part in it, and only when that fog finally lifts do we clearly see the horrors committed during that blindness.
