💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 É extremamente raro eu começar a ler uma série sem ser pelo início, mas, neste caso, não houve alternativa, dada a dificuldade em encontrar hoje em dia os primeiros volumes.

É possível que existam referências e personagens recorrentes cujo significado seja diferente para quem já acompanhou a série desde o começo, mas, no geral, não senti que tivesse perdido grande coisa por ter tido o meu primeiro contacto com esta personagem apenas a partir deste volume.

Gostei de conhecer estas personagens. Jim Del Monaco apresenta-se como um verdadeiro herói e galã de cinema, sempre muito profissional e focado no objectivo — para desagrado da sua companheira Gina, que parece ser uma mulher com uma grande libido por satisfazer — e, por fim, o seu fiel criado africano, Tião.

O volume está dividido em quatro histórias. Gostei especialmente daquela que faz uma paródia a “The Walking Dead”, só que aqui os zombies não morrem com um golpe na cabeça, mas sim de outra forma. *risos*

Visualmente, temos a já conhecida e fabulosa arte de Luís Louro: cheia de diversão e sensualidade. Sem dúvida, o principal atrativo da obra.

E, claro, não podia deixar de mencionar o homem que mordeu o leão. *risos*

🇬🇧 It is extremely rare for me to start reading a series without beginning at the very start, but in this case there was really no alternative, given how difficult it is nowadays to find the first volumes.

It is possible that there are references and recurring characters whose meaning will be different for those who have read the series from the beginning, but overall I did not feel that I missed out on much by having my first contact with this character only from this volume onwards.

I enjoyed getting to know these characters. Jim Del Monaco comes across as a true hero and cinematic heartthrob, always highly professional and focused on the objective — much to the detriment of his companion Gina, who seems to be a woman with a very strong libido yet to be satisfied — and, finally, his loyal African servant, Tião.

The volume itself is divided into four stories. I particularly enjoyed the one that parodies “The Walking Dead”, except that here the zombies do not die by having their heads cut off, but in a rather different way. *laughs*

Visually, it features the already familiar and fabulous art of Luís Louro: full of fun and sensuality. Without a doubt, the main attraction of the work.

And of course, one cannot forget the man who bit the lion. *laughs*
