Este álbum assinala várias inovações importantes na série. Desde logo, pela primeira vez, os cenários europeus dão lugar aos ambientes deslumbrantes do Antigo Egipto, onde os protagonistas se cruzam com Cleópatra, uma das grandes figuras e líderes da Antiguidade.

Ideiafix, que tinha feito a sua estreia no volume anterior, surge aqui pela primeira vez a interagir diretamente com os nossos amigos gauleses, assumindo simultaneamente um papel bastante relevante na narrativa, bem como o seu verdadeiro baptismo de nome.

É também a primeira vez que assistimos à distribuição da poção mágica de forma indiscriminada a não-gauleses, um elemento que introduz novas dinâmicas na história.

Em suma, um volume marcado pela inovação e por momentos de puro divertimento, capaz de arrancar gargalhadas do início ao fim.

This album marks several important innovations in the series. First of all, for the very first time, the European settings are replaced by the stunning landscapes of Ancient Egypt, where our heroes encounter Cleopatra, one of the great figures and leaders of Antiquity.

Dogmatix, who made his first appearance in the previous volume, is now seen interacting directly with our Gaulish friends for the first time. At the same time, he plays a notably relevant role in the story and receives his official naming.

It is also the first time we witness the magic potion being given indiscriminately to non-Gauls, introducing new dynamics into the narrative.
