💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Não gostei muito da forma como esta saga das mortes do Homem-Aranha começou, mas gostei bastante desta parte em particular.

No volume anterior, Peter Parker é submetido ao desafio de Cyra, que o obriga a viver a morte inevitável de três milhões de pessoas, uma a uma, incluindo pessoas de quem gosta. A experiência deixa-o completamente destroçado, ao ponto de deixar de encontrar qualquer sentido na vida, incluindo continuar a lutar pelo bem.

Entretanto, os X-Men liderados por Cyclops têm uma participação bastante relevante, tentando impedir o próximo campeão de Cyttorak enquanto o Homem-Aranha tenta recuperar do profundo dilema psicológico e existencial em que se encontra. Esta presença dos X-Men acabou por tornar este volume ainda mais interessante.

Por fim, gostei bastante de todo o dilema filosófico em torno da morte que Peter é obrigado a enfrentar. É uma jornada dura, mas que acaba por o levar a reencontrar-se e a assumir novamente o papel de campeão espiritual da Terra.

🇬🇧 I wasn’t particularly impressed with how this “Deaths of Spider-Man” storyline began, but I really enjoyed this installment.

In the last volume, Peter Parker is forced to endure Cyra’s challenge, experiencing the inevitable deaths of three million people one by one, including those closest to him. The ordeal leaves him utterly broken, to the point where nothing in life seems to have any meaning anymore—not even fighting for what’s right.

Meanwhile, Cyclops’ X-Men play a significant role, attempting to stop Cyttorak’s next champion while Spider-Man struggles to recover from the profound psychological and existential crisis he finds himself trapped in. Their involvement made this volume even stronger.

Finally, I really appreciated the philosophical exploration of death that Peter is forced to confront. It’s a powerful journey that ultimately leads him to rediscover himself and once again embrace his role as Earth’s spiritual champion.
