💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Apesar de ter gostado bastante do início desta série, confesso que esta leitura, em particular, me pareceu algo aborrecida, embora a arte continue, no geral, absolutamente fabulosa.

A primeira história centra-se em Brainiac e revela a sua origem, mostrando como passou de um simples funcionário responsável pela gestão de resíduos ao génio que hoje lidera a infraestrutura tecnológica da Lazarus Corp.

Entretanto, Kal-El regressa a Smallville em busca de algum descanso ao lado de Martha Kent, mas acaba envolvido no conflito entre a Lazarus Corp e os Omega Men, enquanto o Peacemaker Christopher Smith continua implacável na sua perseguição.

🇬🇧 Although I really enjoyed the beginning of this series, I have to admit that this particular issue felt somewhat dull, even though the artwork remains absolutely gorgeous overall.

The first story focuses on Brainiac, revealing his origin and showing how he rose from a humble waste management worker to the genius who now oversees the Lazarus Corp’s technological infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Kal-El returns to Smallville in search of some peace and quiet with Martha Kent, only to become caught in the conflict between Lazarus Corp and the Omega Men, while Peacemaker Christopher Smith continues his relentless pursuit of him.
