💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Este volume inclui mais um especial, desta vez “Superman Summer Special (2025)”, uma obra que reúne alguns dos principais autores de Superman da atualidade.

A história está centrada no casamento de Lana Lang com John Henry Irons, o Aço, mas acaba por ser muito mais do que isso. É também uma viagem pelo passado e um lembrete de como a vida só pode ser verdadeiramente compreendida quando olhamos para trás. Aqui vemos uma fase em que Clark Kent acreditava que Lana Lang poderia ser o amor da sua vida, quando, na realidade, o destino acabaria por mostrar-lhe que esse lugar pertencia a Lois Lane — e que, no final, ainda bem que Clark nunca chegou a tentar algo com Lana.

Pelo meio, Smallville é atacada várias vezes por Validus, vindo de outra linha temporal, embora não seja imediatamente claro o que a sua presença significa ou quais serão as suas verdadeiras consequências.

The story is centered around Lana Lang’s wedding to John Henry Irons, Steel, but it ends up being about much more than that. It is also a journey into the past and a reminder that life can only truly be understood by looking back. We see a time when Clark Kent believed Lana Lang might be the love of his life, when, in reality, fate would eventually show him that Lois Lane was the one — and, in the end, it is probably for the best that Clark never pursued anything with Lana.

Meanwhile, Smallville is attacked several times by Validus, who comes from another timeline, although it is not immediately clear what his presence means or what the true consequences of his appearance will be.
