💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Não sou propriamente um grande fã do Flash, nem nunca acompanhei muito as suas aventuras. Sempre tive alguma dificuldade em imaginar como seria possível criar histórias realmente interessantes em torno de uma personagem cujo principal poder é simplesmente mover-se extremamente rápido.

Ainda assim, estamos a falar do início da personagem no universo Absolute e, acima de tudo, de Jeff Lemire a escrever para a DC, por isso era impossível ignorar esta estreia.

Acabei por gostar bastante mais do que esperava. Lemire constrói aqui uma nova história de origem bastante interessante, deixando várias pistas e ideias curiosas para explorar no futuro. Fiquei genuinamente curioso para perceber onde tudo isto nos vai levar.

🇬🇧 I’ve never really been a big Flash fan, nor have I followed his adventures very closely. I always found it difficult to imagine how truly interesting stories could be built around a character whose main power is simply moving extremely fast.

That said, we’re talking about the beginning of the character in the Absolute universe and, above all, Jeff Lemire writing for DC, so there was no way I was going to skip this debut.

I ended up enjoying it far more than I expected. Lemire crafts a very interesting new origin story here, planting several intriguing ideas and mysteries to explore moving forward. I’m genuinely curious to see where all of this will lead.
