💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 This series is genuinely heavy and may be emotionally overwhelming for some readers. We’re talking about the same level of intensity as Blood on the Tracks and other works in that vein—perhaps even more so than Goodnight Punpun.

Reiji’s mother continues trying to lure him back home. By now, it’s clear that she is deeply disturbed, and Reiji’s compassionate nature makes him especially susceptible to her manipulation.

Meanwhile, Reiji’s former teacher continues to show how much she cares about him and how desperately she wants what’s best for him, even if it means sacrificing herself. It’s hard not to feel sorry for her; despite the mistakes she made in the past, she seems to deserve a better fate.

There is so much happening at once, yet the story never loses its momentum. The pacing remains excellent, making each volume a fast, gripping, and thoroughly engaging read from beginning to end.

🇵🇹 Esta série é verdadeiramente pesada e poderá afetar emocionalmente alguns leitores. Estamos a falar de uma intensidade comparável à de “Blood on the Tracks” e de outras obras do mesmo género, talvez até superior à de “Goodnight Punpun”.

A mãe de Reiji continua determinada a atraí-lo de volta para casa. Nesta fase, já é evidente que sofre de graves perturbações, e a natureza compassiva de Reiji torna-o particularmente vulnerável à sua manipulação.

Entretanto, a antiga professora de Reiji continua a demonstrar o carinho que sente por ele e o desejo genuíno de o proteger, mesmo que isso implique sacrificar-se. É difícil não sentir alguma compaixão por ela; apesar dos erros que cometeu no passado, parece merecer um destino melhor.

Há imensa coisa a acontecer em simultâneo e a narrativa mantém um ritmo excelente. Os volumes continuam a ler-se num instante e conseguem prender a atenção do princípio ao fim.
