💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Achei que Solo Leveling fosse terminar no volume 16, mas afinal a história continuou nestes dois últimos volumes. Ainda assim, a guerra chegou ao fim e Seong Jinu tenta agora viver uma vida normal num mundo que esqueceu o conflito travado contra os Monarcas, embora ainda existam algumas pessoas que se recordam de certos acontecimentos.

Seong Jinu tem agora um filho e tudo indica que será ele o foco da continuação da história. Tenho sentimentos algo mistos em relação a isso. Por um lado, sinto que esta nova fase talvez devesse assumir-se como um título diferente em vez de continuar directamente Solo Leveling. Por outro, existe sempre o receio de que a próxima história acabe por ser apenas uma repetição da original, mas com uma personagem diferente, numa tentativa de capitalizar o sucesso da obra inicial.

Mas… veremos.

🇬🇧 I thought Solo Leveling was going to end with volume 16, but the story ended up continuing through these last two volumes. Even so, the war is now over and Seong Jinu is trying to live a normal life in a world that has forgotten the conflict fought against the Monarchs, although there are still a few people who remember parts of what happened.

Seong Jinu now has a son, and it seems clear that he will become the focus of the story moving forward. I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand, I feel this new phase perhaps should have been presented as a separate title rather than a direct continuation of Solo Leveling. On the other, there is always the concern that the next story may end up being little more than a repetition of the original, just with a different protagonist, in an attempt to capitalise on the success of the first series.

But… we’ll see.
