💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Chegou finalmente às minhas mãos o 2.º volume desta série.

A narrativa mantém-se muito alinhada com o que foi apresentado no 1.º volume, aprofundando o passado das crianças e todo o contexto que as conduziu até este ponto.

É uma obra que evoca claramente O Senhor das Moscas, aqui reinterpretado com crianças vampiras. Acabamos por não saber o que aconteceu ao mundo, uma vez que a história se mantém totalmente centrada no destino das crianças e no seu passado.

É um desfecho que poderá não agradar a todos, mas que, pessoalmente, considerei perfeitamente aceitável.

🇬🇧 The second volume of this series has finally made its way into my hands.

The narrative remains closely aligned with what was presented in the first volume, further exploring the children’s past and the entire context that led them to this point.

It is a work that clearly evokes Lord of the Flies, here reinterpreted with vampire children. We end up learning nothing about what happened to the world, as the story remains entirely focused on the children’s fate and their past.

It is a conclusion that may not please everyone, but one that I personally found perfectly acceptable.
