💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Este volume de Astérix tinha tudo para ser um dos meus favoritos, sobretudo por eu apreciar particularmente a mitologia e a cultura nórdica. Infelizmente, não foi isso que aconteceu.

As piadas pareceram-me algo fracas e o próprio conceito que sustenta a razão pela qual os Normandos invadem a Gália não me convenceu por completo.

Ainda assim, e apesar da classificação mais baixa, trata-se de uma leitura globalmente agradável e consistente, embora lhe falte a faísca que esteve sempre presente nos volumes anteriores. Até ao momento, considero-o o volume mais fraco da série.

🇬🇧 This Asterix volume had everything it needed to become one of my favourites, especially because I have a strong appreciation for Norse mythology and culture. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I found the jokes somewhat weak, and I was also not fully convinced by the concept behind the reason why the Normans invade Gaul.

Still, despite the lower rating, it is an overall pleasant and solid read, even if it lacks the spark that was consistently present in the previous volumes. So far, I consider this to be the weakest entry in the series.
