💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Os Romanos finalmente arranjaram uma forma de derrotar os irredutíveis gauleses (ou pelo menos é isso que eles pensam).

Segundo a velha tradição gaulesa, o chefe de uma tribo pode ser desafiado por outro para lhe tomar o lugar como líder. Os Romanos decidem explorar essa regra para tentar afastar Matasétix da liderança da tribo de Astérix e Obélix. Se o plano resulta ou não… isso já fica para quem ler descobrir. *wink*

Infelizmente, não há aqui portas partidas nem grandes referências a aventuras passadas (pelo menos que eu tenha notado). O próprio Ideiafix tem um papel bastante discreto. Em contrapartida, esta é, até agora, a obra que dá maior destaque a Matasétix.

Ainda assim, há humor mais do que suficiente para tornar a leitura bastante divertida, e nesse campo Obélix e Panoramix são claramente as grandes estrelas. *risos*

🇬🇧 The Romans have finally come up with a way to defeat the irreducible Gauls (or at least that’s what they think).

According to the old Gaulish tradition, the chief of a tribe can be challenged by another to take over as leader. The Romans decide to exploit this rule in an attempt to remove Matasétix from the leadership of Astérix and Obélix’s tribe. Whether their plan succeeds… that’s for the reader to find out. *wink*

Unfortunately, there are no broken doors here, nor many references to past adventures (at least none that I noticed). Even Ideiafix has a rather discreet role. On the other hand, this is, so far, the story that gives Matasétix the most prominence.

Still, there’s plenty of humour to make the reading thoroughly enjoyable, and in that regard, Obélix and Panoramix are clearly the stars. *laughs*
