💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Já tinha este volume em casa há bastante tempo, à espera da sua vez para ser lido, e que melhor altura para o fazer do que agora, com o lançamento do volume 4?

Confesso que foi uma leitura que me surpreendeu pela positiva. Não tinha grandes expectativas, mas acabei por encontrar uma narrativa sólida, envolvente e conceptualmente muito interessante.

A história transporta-nos para um futuro em que o mundo é ainda mais digital do que aquele em que vivemos hoje. Um acontecimento inexplicável provoca o apagamento total de toda a informação digital existente no planeta, e as consequências desse colapso começam rapidamente a fazer-se sentir em todos os níveis da sociedade humana.

A arte de Enki Bilal é, como seria de esperar, absolutamente deslumbrante, e beneficia enormemente deste formato de luxo, ao qual a Arte de Autor já nos habituou. A obra de Bilal dificilmente poderia ser apresentada de forma mais adequada.

Fico bastante motivado para continuar a leitura desta série e acompanhar o rumo que a história irá tomar nos próximos volumes.

🇬🇧 I had this volume at home for quite some time, waiting for its turn to be read, and what better moment to do so than now, with the release of volume 4?

I must admit it was a read that surprised me in a positive way. I did not have particularly high expectations, but I ended up finding a solid, engaging, and conceptually very interesting narrative.

The story takes us to a future in which the world is even more digital than the one we live in today. An inexplicable event causes the complete erasure of all digital information on the planet, and the consequences of this collapse quickly begin to be felt at every level of human society.

The art of Enki Bilal is, as one would expect, absolutely stunning, and it benefits enormously from this luxury format, which Arte de Autor has already accustomed us to. Bilal’s work could hardly be presented in a more fitting way.

I am quite motivated to continue reading this series and to follow the direction the story will take in the upcoming volumes.
