🇵🇹 Guardei a leitura deste volume para quando a segunda parte desta saga ficasse disponível, de forma a ler ambos de seguida.

O nosso protagonista, Jonas Crow, vê os seus serviços solicitados por R. Prairie e, movido por emoções antigas, não hesita em responder ao apelo.

O que se segue envolve um confronto de natureza religiosa entre uma figura profundamente devota e um cirurgião que tenta ajudar uma mulher numa situação muito delicada. No essencial, trata-se de uma história que aborda um tema sensível e o debate moral que o rodeia.

O volume termina num cliffhanger cuja continuação só virá no próximo número.

Uma leitura ao nível das anteriores desta série — um bom western moderno.

🇬🇧 I saved this volume for when the second part of the saga became available, so I could read them both in one go.

Our protagonist, Jonas Crow, has his services requested by R. Prairie and, driven by old emotions, he doesn’t hesitate to answer the call.

What follows is a religiously motivated confrontation between a deeply devout figure and a surgeon trying to help a woman in a very delicate situation. Essentially, it’s a story that touches on a sensitive topic and the moral debate surrounding it.

The volume ends on a cliffhanger, with the continuation only arriving in the next instalment.

A reading experience on par with the previous entries in this series — a solid modern western.
