💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Masasumi Kakizaki parece-me um mangaká subestimado — talvez até um pouco incompreendido.

Na minha opinião, tem uma das artes mais impressionantes que já vi num mangá. Já tinha lido a sua outra obra, The Tree of Death: Yomotsuhegui, e adorei, por isso sabia que havia fortes possibilidades de também gostar desta.

A sua escrita costuma ser criticada por ser simples e directa, mas, sinceramente, é precisamente isso que me agrada nela.

Este primeiro volume de Green Blood é simplesmente fabuloso. Em termos de acção e tensão, está entre o melhor que tenho lido.

Um autor que, a meu ver, merece muito mais reconhecimento.

🇬🇧 Masasumi Kakizaki strikes me as an underrated mangaka — perhaps even a bit misunderstood.

In my view, he has some of the most impressive artwork I’ve ever seen in manga. I had already read his other work, The Tree of Death: Yomotsuhegui, and loved it, so I knew there was a strong chance I’d enjoy this one too.

His writing is often criticised for being simple and straightforward, but honestly, that’s exactly what I like about it.

This first volume of Green Blood is simply fantastic. In terms of action and tension, it’s among the best I’ve read.

An author who, in my opinion, deserves far more recognition.
