🇵🇹 Em 2025, só a ignorância pode levar alguém a pensar que a banda desenhada é coisa de crianças.

Adoro este tipo de romances gráficos que nos dão a conhecer figuras e eventos da nossa história que não são amplamente conhecidos.

Foi um prazer descobrir Suzanne Noël e acompanhar a sua vida extraordinária – não isenta de erros, mas quem tem uma que seja?

Não sendo particularmente entusiasta da indústria da cirurgia plástica, reconheço o seu valor. Queiramos ou não, por mais que se diga que o que importa é o interior, a verdade é que o exterior continua a ter um peso significativo. Além disso, é fascinante perceber os avanços necessários nesta área, nem sempre com fins meramente superficiais.

Claro que esta grande história não seria possível sem as autoras Leïla Slimani e Clément Oubrerie, que conseguiram criar uma obra cativante e de leitura envolvente.

I love this kind of graphic novel that introduces us to figures and events from our history that are not widely known.

It was a pleasure to discover Suzanne Noël and follow her extraordinary life – not without its mistakes, but who has a life that is?

I’m not particularly enthusiastic about the plastic surgery industry, but I recognize its value. Whether we like it or not, no matter how much we say that what matters is what’s inside, the truth is that appearance still holds significant weight. Moreover, it’s fascinating to see the advancements required in this field, not always for merely superficial purposes.

Of course, this great story wouldn’t be possible without authors Leïla Slimani and Clément Oubrerie, who have managed to create an engaging and immersive read.
