🇵🇹 A vida é tão simples — somos nós que a complicamos.

Foi a primeira vez que li uma história contada ao contrário. Começa com o capítulo final e vai recuando no tempo. Ao início, fiquei preocupado que as partes mais importantes fossem reveladas demasiado cedo, mas não foi nada disso. Na verdade, à medida que recuamos na história, as revelações tornam-se cada vez mais intensas e emocionantes.

Fiquei profundamente comovido com a relação entre a Anna e o marido — uma ligação cheia de amor, respeito e uma força silenciosa.

E a senhora idosa, sozinha na sua casa… absolutamente devastador.

Este é o tipo de história que nos faz querer ser pessoas melhores.

Por mais que tente, não consigo mesmo exprimir o quanto adorei esta história.

This was the first time I read a story told in reverse. It starts with the final chapter and moves backwards through time. At first, I was worried that the most important parts would be revealed too soon, but that wasn’t the case at all. In fact, the deeper we go into the past, the more powerful and emotional the revelations become.

I was deeply moved by the relationship between Anna and her husband — a bond full of love, respect, and quiet strength.

And the old lady in her house… utterly heartbreaking.

This is the kind of story that makes you want to be a better person.

No matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to put into words how much I loved this story.
