🇵🇹 Esta série parece que começou ontem, mas a verdade é que já remonta a 2021. Ainda assim, impressiona-me a rapidez com que chegou ao quinto volume, com o sexto já anunciado na contracapa. E, já agora… viram esta capa? Honestamente, é uma das minhas capas favoritas de sempre no que toca à banda desenhada europeia.

Na minha opinião, este é o melhor volume da série até ao momento, consolidando definitivamente Wild West como um dos melhores westerns da atualidade.

Adorei toda a narrativa em torno de Belle Starr. Ainda assim, tenho pena que a personagem na história não se pareça tanto com a figura representada na capa. É uma decisão artística peculiar.

Também estou a gostar de acompanhar as dificuldades familiares de Wild Bill Hickok, agora xerife da pequena cidade de Dolores City, um lado mais humano da personagem que acrescenta profundidade à narrativa.

No geral, continua a ser uma leitura extremamente envolvente e prazerosa. Recomendo vivamente a todos os fãs de westerns e de banda desenhada europeia.

🇬🇧 It feels like this series only started yesterday, but it’s actually been around since 2021. Even so, I’m impressed that it’s already reached its fifth volume, with the sixth one already being advertised on the back cover. And speaking of that… have you seen this cover? Honestly, it’s one of my favorite European comic book covers of all time.

In my opinion, this is the strongest volume in the series so far, firmly establishing Wild West as one of the best western comics currently being published.

I loved everything surrounding Belle Starr’s storyline. That said, I do wish she looked a bit more like the stunning woman featured on the cover. It’s a rather peculiar artistic choice.

I’m also enjoying seeing Wild Bill Hickok struggle with his family life now that he’s the sheriff of the small town of Dolores City. It adds a welcome layer of humanity to his character.

Overall, this remains an incredibly enjoyable read. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys westerns or European comics.
