🇵🇹 Uma daquelas leituras em que digo a mim mesmo que vou ler só mais umas páginas… mas depois simplesmente não consigo pousar o livro até o terminar.

Talvez seja a minha aventura favorita de Blacksad até agora. É difícil escolher, porque todas são excelentes, mas o ambiente desta história, as cores, a atmosfera… tudo me colocou exatamente no estado de espírito certo para a leitura. Aqui, tudo funciona de forma fenomenal.

Até a música! A certa altura dei por mim a pesquisar algumas das referências online e a ouvi-las enquanto continuava a ler o resto da obra. Trouxe-me imediatamente aquela nostalgia de outros tempos.

Esta edição da Ala dos Livros traz ainda um excelente anexo dedicado ao estudo de cor realizado durante a criação da obra. É fascinante perceber melhor o processo do artista e perceber que há muito mais complexidade por detrás destas páginas do que aquela que sentimos ao ver apenas o resultado final.

🇬🇧 One of those reads where I tell myself I’m only going to read a few more pages… only to end up completely unable to put the book down until I’ve finished it.

This might be my favourite Blacksad adventure so far. It’s hard to choose because they’re all excellent, but the atmosphere of this story, the colours, the overall mood… everything put me in exactly the right state of mind for the experience. Everything here works phenomenally well.

Even the music! At one point I found myself searching for some of the references online and listening to them while continuing to read the rest of the book. It instantly brought back that nostalgia for another time.

This edition from Ala dos Livros also includes an excellent bonus section focused on the colour studies created during the production of the work. It’s fascinating to get a better understanding of the artist’s process and realise just how much complexity lies behind these pages beyond what we see in the final result.
