💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Depois de ter simplesmente adorado ambos os ciclos anteriores, mal recebi este novo volume quis imediatamente lê-lo.

Este é bastante diferente dos dois anteriores, no sentido em que esses eram focados em adopções que, de uma forma ou de outra, correram menos bem ou acabaram mal resolvidas. Aqui acontece precisamente o contrário: as adopções são um sucesso.

O livro centra-se mais na vida de uma família que, de repente, se vê com duas adopções e uma filha biológica praticamente ao mesmo tempo. Existe um grande foco na evolução das três raparigas e da própria família ao longo dos anos, com momentos felizes e outros mais dolorosos, ambos carregados de emoção.

Acaba, por isso, por fugir um pouco ao conceito original da série, mas nem por isso deixa de ser mais uma obra fantástica destes dois grandes autores, que certamente não irá desiludir os seus fãs.

🇬🇧 After absolutely loving both previous story arcs, the moment I received this new one I immediately wanted to read it.

This one is quite different from the previous two, in the sense that those focused on adoptions that, in one way or another, had not gone particularly well or ended up being poorly resolved. Here, the exact opposite happens: the adoptions are a success.

The book focuses more on the life of a family that suddenly finds itself with two adopted daughters and a biological daughter almost at the same time. There is a strong emphasis on the evolution of the three girls and the family itself throughout the years, with both happy and painful moments, all of them deeply emotional.

As a result, it moves away somewhat from the original concept of the series, but it is still yet another fantastic work from these two great authors, one that certainly will not disappoint their fans.
