💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Este é o primeiro volume sem o ilustrador original, Dubu, que faleceu em 2022. No entanto, honestamente, não notei nenhuma alteração visual significativa. As ilustrações estão agora a cargo do estúdio REDICE, que já trabalhava de perto com Dubu — sendo que ele próprio fazia parte desse estúdio.

Ainda assim, senti uma diferença ao nível narrativo. Parece-me que a história talvez devesse ter terminado no volume anterior. Neste caso, a sensação é mais de estarem a construir uma ponte para algo que possa surgir no futuro.

Seong Jin-Woo salvou o mundo, mas todos se esqueceram dele — incluindo as pessoas de quem gosta. Este volume gira essencialmente em torno da forma como ele lida com essa realidade.

🇬🇧 This is the first volume without the original illustrator, Dubu, who passed away in 2022. However, I didn’t notice any significant visual change. The artwork is now handled by Studio REDICE, which had already been collaborating closely with Dubu, who himself was part of the studio.

That said, I did feel a shift on the narrative side. It seems to me that the story might have been better concluded in the previous volume. Here, the focus feels more like laying the groundwork for what may come next.

Seong Jin-Woo saved the world, but everyone has forgotten him—including the people he cares about. This volume essentially revolves around how he comes to terms with that reality.
