📚 Book Review: Boy’s Abyss, Vol. 12
📖 Author(s): Ryo Minenami
💭 My Thoughts:
🇬🇧 I must admit I don’t quite understand what Yuri is doing at Yuko’s house. Is she trying to help Reiji’s family? Does she feel guilty in some way? Maybe this was already explained earlier, but I can’t quite remember.
The relationship dynamics continue to develop. I’ve noticed that this series deals quite a lot with the theme of suicide, which on its own would likely make it difficult to publish in the West without considerable caution. In that sense, Japanese creators seem to enjoy greater creative freedom to explore heavier themes, which ultimately allows for bolder storytelling.
As for the ending, I’d really like Reiji to end up with Sakuko. I think I’ve said this before. They seem like a perfect match, but Reiji still hasn’t realized that he basically has the jackpot right in front of him.

Estará a tentar ajudar a família do Reiji?
