💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Normalmente, quando vejo este tipo de títulos, a primeira coisa que me ocorre é: money grab. Foi precisamente por isso que hesitei em adquirir este volume — mas a curiosidade acabou por falar mais alto. #forscience

Como já referi noutras ocasiões, gosto bastante do Deadpool no grande ecrã, mas em banda desenhada raramente me convenceu. Desta vez, surpreendentemente, resultou. Temos aqui um Deadpool mais alinhado com a versão cinematográfica — uma escrita mais adulta, sem perder a irreverência característica — que cria um contraste eficaz com a personalidade rígida e contida do Batman. Esse choque de registos funciona bem e sustenta uma história principal que, no cômputo geral, é sólida e consistente.

Já as quatro mini-histórias adicionais, envolvendo outras personagens da DC e da Marvel e que ocupam cerca de metade da revista, ficam bastante aquém. Soam mais a complemento editorial do que a algo verdadeiramente relevante ou memorável.

As I’ve mentioned before, I really enjoy Deadpool on the big screen, but in comics he’s rarely worked for me. This time, surprisingly, he did. Here we get a Deadpool that feels closer to the cinematic version — a more mature writing style, without losing his trademark irreverence — which creates an effective contrast with Batman’s rigid and restrained personality. That clash of tones works well and supports a main story that is, overall, solid and consistent.

The four additional mini-stories featuring other DC and Marvel characters — which make up about half of the issue — are far less impressive. They feel more like editorial filler than anything truly meaningful or memorable.
