Em paralelo, o destemido chefe Matasétix enfrenta problemas de fígado, sendo obrigado a cumprir uma dieta rigorosa — algo particularmente penoso para um gaulês.

As duas linhas narrativas acabam por convergir, dando origem a uma aventura leve, bem-humorada e fiel ao espírito clássico da série.
