🇵🇹 Juan Díaz Canales regressa com um novo spin-off de Blacksad, onde o famoso gato detective fica de fora para dar lugar a outras figuras do seu mundo.

Desta vez, Canales centra-se em Weekly — provavelmente a personagem mais popular deste universo a seguir ao próprio Blacksad. Ficamos a conhecer melhor o seu passado, como chegou a repórter fotográfico e, claro, como não podia deixar de ser, há um crime a pedir resolução.

As ilustrações ficam agora a cargo de Giovanni Rigano, que realiza um excelente trabalho ao preservar a estética quente e noir que a série tão bem estabeleceu.

No geral, é uma obra sólida que expande este universo que tanto apreciamos e que certamente não irá desapontar os fãs da série.

🇬🇧 Juan Díaz Canales returns with a new Blacksad spin-off, where the famous feline detective steps aside to give prominence to other figures within his world.

This time, Canales focuses on Weekly — probably the most popular character in this universe after Blacksad himself. We get to learn more about his past, how he became a photojournalist and, of course, as expected, there’s a crime waiting to be solved along the way.

The illustrations are now handled by Giovanni Rigano, who does an excellent job of preserving the warm, noir aesthetic the series is known for.

Overall, it’s a solid work that expands the universe we’ve grown so fond of, and one that is sure not to disappoint fans of the series.
