💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Continuo a apreciar o que o Saladin está a fazer com esta nova fase do Demolidor. Na última review, mencionei o fato branco e como ele encaixaria na perfeição neste momento da personagem — e não é que ele volta mesmo a usá-lo? Pena que rapidamente retorne ao traje tradicional.

Não estou particularmente a gostar da direcção artística desta fase. A história, a meu ver, beneficiaria de uma arte mais séria e menos cartoonish. Fico a questionar-me se esta escolha vem da própria equipa criativa ou se foi imposta editorialmente — duvido que tenha sido decisão do escritor.

Infelizmente, como acontece com frequência, este volume inclui também uma edição giant-size especial do Demolidor. E, como de costume, essas histórias adicionais são muito fracas, ao ponto de valer mais a pena saltá-las.

No fim de contas, estes volumes acabam por perder valor por causa disso. Seriam muito mais consistentes com menos material, mas de maior qualidade.

🇬🇧 I’m still enjoying what Saladin is doing with this new phase of Daredevil. In my last review, I mentioned the white suit and how perfectly it would fit this stage of the character — and wouldn’t you know it, he actually wears it again? Unfortunately, he soon goes back to the traditional costume.

I’m not particularly fond of the artistic direction chosen for this run. In my view, the story would benefit from a more serious, less cartoonish style. I can’t help but wonder if this choice came from the creative team or was an editorial decision — I doubt it was the writer’s call.

Unfortunately, as is often the case, this volume also includes a giant-size special issue of Daredevil. And, as usual, these bonus stories are quite weak — honestly, they’re better off skipped.

In the end, these volumes lose some of their value because of that. They’d be much stronger with less material but of higher quality.
