🇵🇹 Aqui, a autora parece conduzir-nos à partilha de uma experiência traumática de infância, possivelmente vivida por ela própria.

Trata-se de uma narrativa profundamente marcada pela tristeza, que expõe com clareza o mal que pode vir justamente daqueles que deveriam ser os primeiros a proteger-nos. Ao mesmo tempo, a obra parece funcionar como uma forma de catarse ou terapia para a própria autora.

As ilustrações são belas e a qualidade da edição mantém-se irrepreensível.

🇬🇧 Here, the author seems to lead us into the sharing of a traumatic childhood experience, possibly her own.

It is a narrative deeply imbued with sadness, clearly exposing the harm that can sometimes come from those who should be our very first protectors. At the same time, the work appears to function as a form of catharsis or therapy for the author herself.

The illustrations are beautiful, and the quality of the edition is impeccable.
