🇵🇹 Estou numa fase em que me apetece bastante revisitar a obra de Jonathan Hickman.

É um autor que frequentemente vejo a ser alvo de críticas negativas, sobretudo por parte dos fãs da Marvel. No entanto, cada vez mais me convenço de que é um dos meus escritores favoritos. Para além de escrever bem, tem uma visão notável na construção de narrativas inovadoras e complexas, algo que já provou em diversas ocasiões.

Por isso, parece-me a altura ideal para reler esta história, que penso ser o culminar de uma fase brilhante da sua passagem pelos Novos Vingadores. Acompanhei-a no passado, mas agora sinto ainda mais vontade de a revisitar.

🇬🇧 I’m currently in a phase where I really feel like revisiting Jonathan Hickman’s work.

He’s an author I often see receiving negative criticism, especially from Marvel fans. However, I’m increasingly convinced that he’s one of my favorite writers. Beyond being a strong storyteller, he has an outstanding vision for building innovative and complex narratives, something he has proven on multiple occasions.

That’s why this feels like the perfect time to reread this story, which I think is the culmination of a brilliant phase during his run on the New Avengers. I followed it back then, but now I feel an even stronger urge to revisit it.
