Foi uma leitura agradável. Quem já conhece o autor não ficará desiludido—o seu estilo narrativo característico brilha aqui em todo o seu esplendor. Honestamente, sinto que esta história funcionou tão bem apenas porque foi escrita e ilustrada por Paco Roca. Um autor menos talentoso teria dificuldade, já que a história em si não é particularmente cativante.

Inclina-se mais para um conto de slice-of-life, relembrando os eventos que levaram um grupo de autores e artistas veteranos a abandonar a sua editora para criar a sua própria. Faz lembrar um pouco a origem da Image Comics, embora sem o mesmo nível de sucesso.

Mais uma obra sólida de Paco Roca, sem dúvida.

It was an enjoyable read. Those familiar with the author won’t be disappointed—his trademark narrative style shines through in all its glory. Honestly, I feel this story worked as well as it did solely because it was both written and illustrated by Paco Roca. A less skilled author might have struggled, as the story itself isn’t particularly compelling on its own.

It leans more towards a slice-of-life tale, recounting the events that led a group of veteran authors and artists to leave their publisher and establish their own. It’s somewhat reminiscent of the origins of Image Comics, though without the same level of success.

Another solid work from Paco Roca, no doubt.
