💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Esta capa é deslumbrante, e a arte de Rosiński está tão impecável como sempre.

No entanto, a escrita de Van Hamme pareceu-me um pouco sem inspiração desta vez. A minha experiência com “Thorgal” tem sido sempre de aventuras incríveis narradas de forma despretensiosa. Neste volume, parece que ele passou demasiado tempo e esforço a explicar coisas, mas alguns aspetos continuam pouco claros.

A tentativa de adicionar complexidade à história não a tornou necessariamente melhor, mas talvez as coisas se encaixem no próximo volume, já que este é apenas a primeira parte da narrativa.

Van Hamme’s writing, however, felt a bit uninspired to me this time. My experience with “Thorgal” has always been about reading great adventures narrated effortlessly. In this volume, it seems like he spent too much time and effort explaining things, yet some aspects still feel unclear.

The attempt to add complexity to the story didn’t necessarily improve it, but perhaps things will come together in the next volume, as this is only the first part of the story.
