📚 Book Review: Chico Bento – Viola
📖 Author(s): Orlandeli
💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 Orlandeli’s artistic sensitivity is something truly special. Simply unique. All of his works possess an incredible emotional depth, and just revisiting the memories of reading them is enough to move me all over again.
This story is about Chico Bento’s grandfather, but it ultimately becomes a tribute to all grandfathers around the world and to the way they influence their grandchildren, sometimes even when there is little or no contact between them.
Chico Bento gets to know his grandfather better, someone he is immensely proud of and wants to become like. But he comes to realize that he doesn’t need to be just like him — he simply needs to be himself. The rest is already in his DNA.
A beautiful work!
