Homem Voador

📚 Book Review: Homem Voador
📖 Author(s): José Pinto Carneiro, Álvaro

💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 A man encounters a talking dog who offers him the chance to have one wish granted. Caught up in the moment, and not really believing it will work, he simply says that he wishes he could fly. And so begins another humorous work written by José Pinto Carneiro and illustrated by Álvaro.

Regretting the wish he made, he nevertheless tries to make the most of his newfound powers. But he soon realises that being able to fly, on its own, isn’t nearly as spectacular as it sounds. After all, at the end of the day, we’re still human beings who need to work and make a living.

Full of good humour, absurd situations and a very distinctive sense of comedy, this is a light and entertaining read. An unpretentious story that’s perfect for spending a good time.
