One Punch Man, Vol. 25

💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 I never get tired of saying how underrated this series is compared to other ongoing series. To me, it’s probably the series that comes closest to Dragon Ball that I’ve ever read, and it’s simply incredibly fun.

Whenever a new volume of One-Punch Man arrives at my house, it gets devoured immediately. I just wish there weren’t still a 12-volume gap between the English and Portuguese editions. If Devir wants to keep up with the English release, which is still ongoing and currently publishes 2–3 volumes a year, they’ll inevitably have to increase the number of volumes they release each year.

I find it amazing that, even after 25 volumes, almost no one has realised just how powerful Saitama actually is. He has been saving the planet all this time, defeating every enemy with a single punch, without society or the other heroes truly understanding what he is capable of. And, to make matters worse, other people often end up taking credit for his achievements.

It’s a phenomenal series, incredibly entertaining, and one that deserves far more attention than it gets.
