📚 Book Review: The Longest Day of the Future
📖 Author(s): Lucas Varela
💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 I came across this book some time ago and was immediately intrigued by it. I eventually decided to read it digitally. Yes, I know… as if the piles of books waiting to be read on my shelves weren’t enough, I’m still out here reading digitally. It is what it is! 😁
This is a completely silent work. We find ourselves on a planet apparently dominated by two distinct factions, and throughout the story we follow several characters from both sides, each trying to sabotage the opposing faction.
But the book is much more than that. It is a very creative work, featuring some really interesting scenes, and it demands quite a lot of attention from us as readers, precisely because there is no dialogue or narration whatsoever.
In the end, I found it to be a very interesting and entertaining read. It is certainly an unusual work, but its approach works remarkably well and ultimately provides a very different reading experience.
