📚 Book Review: A Guerra dos Tronos, Vol. 1
📖 Author(s): Daniel Abraham, George R.R. Martin, Tommy Patterson, Ivan Nunes
💭 My Thoughts:

🇬🇧 I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting this to be this good.
Daniel Abraham delivers a remarkably faithful and very well-executed adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s original story. That makes it all the more disappointing that the series was never completed. Still, I definitely want to read all the volumes that were released, and perhaps one day someone will decide to pick it up again and give it the conclusion it deserves.
For anyone who watched the first season of the TV series, practically all the major events are here: the King’s journey North, Ned Stark being appointed Hand of the King, Bran’s fall, Daenerys’ rise, the intrigues between the Lannisters and the King, the incident involving Arya and the Prince, Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch, and much more.
It’s fascinating to revisit these events in this format and see just how closely the adaptation follows the original story.
Perhaps the second volume will cover the remaining events from the first season.
Definitely a series I’ll be continuing.
