💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Infelizmente, esta leitura não me agradou tanto quanto esperava.

Tecnicamente, não tenho críticas a apontar: a BD é bastante original, com uma narrativa contada de trás para a frente, enquanto outra trama se desenvolve em paralelo de forma linear, cruzando-se ambas no desfecho. O desenho, de estilo cartoonesco, é competente e bem executado.

O problema esteve, para mim, na própria história, que não conseguiu despertar grande interesse. É uma viagem algo alucinante que me trouxe à memória o filme “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” — um filme de culto da comunidade geek que, apesar da popularidade, também nunca me conquistou.

Em suma: uma BD bem concebida e sólida, mas que simplesmente não foi feita para mim.

🇬🇧 Unfortunately, this read didn’t appeal to me as much as I had expected.

From a technical standpoint, I have no real criticism: the comic is quite original, with one storyline told backwards while another unfolds in parallel in a linear way, both converging at the end. The cartoony artwork is solid and well executed.

The issue, for me, was the story itself, which failed to spark much interest. It’s a somewhat hallucinatory journey that reminded me of the film The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy—another cult classic within the geek community which, despite its popularity, never really won me over either.

In short: a well-crafted and competent comic, but simply not one for me.
