💭 My Thoughts:

🇵🇹 Confesso que já não estou a apreciar esta obra tanto como gostei dos volumes anteriores, em especial do primeiro.

Para mim, é um bom exemplo de um livro que acaba por se transformar numa série sem, talvez, ter material suficiente para se prolongar tanto. Já começo a sentir isso neste volume e, sabendo que ainda existe pelo menos mais um, é provável que já não o venha a ler.

O conceito inicial era excelente e identifiquei-me bastante com o primeiro volume. Mas agora a narrativa afastou-se demasiado dessa premissa: temos fantasminhas a conviver às dúzias, quase em clima de festa, e isso retira-me parte da ligação. Reconheço que há mais camadas na história do que consigo resumir aqui, mas, no geral, deixei de me rever nela.

Talvez eu já não seja um fantasminha.

🇬🇧 I must confess that I’m no longer enjoying this work as much as I did with the previous volumes, especially the first one.

To me, it’s a good example of a book that turned into a series without really having enough material to sustain such length. I’m already feeling that with this volume and, knowing there’s at least one more, I’ll probably end up not reading it.

The initial concept was excellent, and I really connected with the first volume. But now the narrative has drifted too far from that premise: we’ve got little ghosts socializing in droves, almost as if they’re throwing parties, and that makes me lose part of the connection. I know there are more layers to the story than I can summarize here, but overall, I no longer see myself in it.

Maybe I’m just not a little ghost anymore.
