🇵🇹 Antes de mais, quero destacar o quanto adorei a capa — simples, mas extremamente atraente.

A premissa desta história é bastante original: um jovem começa, a certa altura, a partilhar o seu corpo com outra consciência que habita a sua mente. A partir daí, desenrola-se uma luta intensa entre as duas, cada uma tentando dominar a outra.

No entanto, a narrativa vai muito além disso. Acontece tanta coisa ao longo da história que é quase inevitável o leitor tomar partido por uma das consciências.

Confesso que foi uma leitura profundamente angustiante — das mais intensas que me lembro de ter tido. Não será, talvez, a melhor escolha para quem sofre de ansiedade, como é o meu caso. Ainda assim, adorei a experiência, mesmo que o desfecho me tenha deixado um sabor agridoce.

É uma leitura envolvente, que nos faz criar laços com as personagens. Um excelente lançamento da Devir, que recomendo vivamente!

🇬🇧 First of all, I have to say how much I loved the cover — simple, yet incredibly striking.

The premise of this story is quite original: at a certain point, a young man begins to share his body with another consciousness that exists within his mind. From there, an intense struggle unfolds, with each consciousness trying to take control.

But the story goes far beyond that. So much happens throughout the narrative that it’s almost impossible not to side with one of the two minds.

I must admit it was a deeply distressing read — one of the most emotionally intense I can recall. It might not be the best choice for those who suffer from anxiety, like myself. Still, I loved the experience, even if the ending left me with a bittersweet feeling.

It’s a gripping story that makes you form real connections with the characters. An excellent release from Devir, and one I highly recommend!
