🇵🇹 Rui Lacas entrega uma história incrível. Adoro absolutamente a crueza da sua arte – aqueles painéis parecem vivos, quase como se ele tivesse pensado: “Isto já está bom. Próximo!” Essa imperfeição deliberada dá um toque especial à narrativa, deixando claro que o foco estava inteiramente em criar uma história cativante. E resulta.

Os balões de texto são outro ponto de destaque. O aspeto cru e desenhado à mão pode tornar o texto ligeiramente mais difícil de ler em alguns momentos, mas é um refrescante contraste com os balões padronizados a que estamos habituados. Essa imperfeição – quase desleixada – dá um toque humano que eleva a experiência como um todo.

E a história em si? Belíssima. Uma narrativa de amor e paixão, contada e concluída com uma autenticidade que realmente me tocou.

Não é de admirar que Rui Lacas seja uma figura incontornável da BD portuguesa. Este livro é um testemunho do seu talento, e adorei cada momento.

🇬🇧 Rui Lacas delivers an incredible story. I absolutely adore the rawness of his art—those panels feel alive, almost as if he thought, “This is good enough. Moving on!” That deliberate imperfection gives the storytelling an edge, making it clear that his focus was entirely on crafting a compelling narrative. And it works.

The text bubbles are another standout feature. Their raw, hand-drawn feel may make the text slightly harder to read at times, but it’s such a refreshing break from the standardized balloons we’re used to. That imperfection—almost messy—adds a human touch that elevates the entire experience.

And the story itself? Beautiful. A story of love and passion, told and concluded with such authenticity that it really struck a chord with me.

No wonder Rui Lacas is a towering figure in Portuguese comics. This book is a testament to his talent, and I loved every bit of it.
